Hi there, Our stories sound so similar, I too adopted a rescue at 6 months old. A bernese and fell in love he is one of my kids, he raises orphans and helps out with the other animals on the farm. We have a rescue hobby farm, for country critters and he loves it. He is getting older now and we want to see him raise his own kin. We have decided to start breeding Berners as the breed is amazing, I would like to start before we lose Max as he would be so involved(he is fixed and can never have kids of his own, but he would make a good daddy), in researching found there are not many breeders of them in our area, but I would be willing to travel for, and my sister in law lives in Calgary, it is hard to really know who is a good breeder, but I like that our stories are similar, shows heart. Please keep me posted on upcoming litter, I am very interested.
